Not much on the down-stroke heavy style for me, seems less efficient but she pulls it off well.

I've just never been that much of a fan of her playing. I saw her at NAMM before she got popular and wasn't too impressed (She was probably about 16 then though) but I'm glad that she's been able to have a career playing music. A better one than most of us :)
 
The Santana influence is very evident - but she lacks Carlos' feel (in his prime). With all due respect, and indeed echoing Mark's comment on her obvious success, without her looks she would be fronting a cover band getting $75.00 a night. I know dozens of local player who play circles around her on a bad night. And I am not one of them....she plays much better then I ever have. But she is marketable and they are not.....
