Slender Hobbit
So for some odd reason, I saw these on Reverb the other night and decided to buy one. I figured what the hell, I don't own a guitar with a humbucker and they are dirt cheap and small.

It is actually not bad. The strings need to be changed and the frets may need some cleaning but other than that, it is ok. There are no sharp fret ends and they seem level. I may replace the pickup with a TV Jones just for the hell of it, the one in there doesn't sound bad but is a little crunchier than I usually rock. I have a set of Jazzmaster knobs I am going to throw on it.

Looks fun, congrats! Funny thing is I was looking at some videos of the Hofner shorty bass last night.

I've toyed with the idea of getting one of those to smuggle with me to work in the nightshift. Maybe outfitting it with a Schaller Les trem.

When I ordered this, I was thinking if it was decent, I may pick up the bass too. This is good enough for me to consider it.

It's got some good reviews with a few very minor tweaks needed. Like the strap button and stuff like that, but some of these guys who picked it say its got a really nice tone.

The strap button on the guitar is in a place where it doesn't make the guitar do a neck dive, which I thought would happen. Instead it kind of falls forward, so like the strings want to face the floor. I am thinking I may just tie the strap around the headstock instead of using the top button.

I've often thought about making something like that to keep in the car and practice on my lunch breaks.
