As I mentioned earlier today in another thread, I bought another Gretsch this weekend. Here it is:

Yep, it's a 6196T, to satisfy my Jones for some FilterTron goodness, I finished re-stringing a short time ago, and now I'm going to spend some quality playing time with it, before I go to bed.

F.Y.I. - I still have my 1954 Country Club, with Dynasonics.
 
It's Cadillac Green. I couldn't get decent lighting to really show off the color. Here's a photo that better shows the color (I originally discarded it, because it doesn't show the whole guitar).

God I love this color combo. So much I have two guitars of our own inspired by it in the works.

B Valley - I first bopped out some jazz (Sal Salvador comes to mind), then in my typical Gretsch Heretic fashion, I dialed up the gain, playing Iggy And The Stooges, "Sick Of You", and then some Tool ("Vicarious", and "Jambi"). I would have played longer, but by the time I finished eating supper, and re-stringing the guitar, it was after 9 PM, and I have to get up for work at 4:30 AM (I'm writing this at work, shortly before I start my workday), so getting to sleep it was. It sounds absolutely killer both clean, and dirty, and has a great feeling neck.
 
Back in the 60's, a friend of mine bought a Gretsch Country Gentleman in just about that shade of green. Beautiful!
 
Delicious! My favorite Gretsche color combo. This should fit in well with your Country Club.
