NGD - Finally got a decent acoustic!

So I took part in the local annual music gear swap over the weekend, and made a fair bit of dough, even after picking up some treasures there (will post separately). So, I decided to pull the trigger on what I think was a pretty good deal. It's a '93 Guild D4. Really well-built Dreadnaught that sounds and plays great. Nice and even over all the strings, and quite a big voice. The only faults I can find - it's got a couple of small nicks on the top, the pickguard is warped slightly around the edges, and the bridge is lifting ever so slightly. Easy fix, and I don't have to worry about putting that first scratch in it if somebody else already did. It's pretty no frills, without electronics or bling, but it seems like it will make a good studio workhorse, which is what I was after.
$450 with OHSC. How'd I do?

I wouldn't have a read on the deal, because I don't see many Guild guitars locally. Looks like a nice guitar, and from your description it should certainly play well. HNGD!
 
I have an old Ovation Balladeer (mostly for sentimental reasons - it was my Dad's guitar), and an Ibanez budget jobby. I've been recording a lot lately, and have borrowed some great acoustics, and then going back to playing those others was just not cutting it anymore. Hope this one records as well as I think it will.
 
Quality acoustics like a Guild that are well taken care of will last a lifetime; maybe even outlive us. HNGD.
