I'm curious: How much does it weigh? I had one of the "diamond series" MIK PTs that was an awesome playing and sounding axe, but it could have anchored a cruise ship. I wonder if the USA ones are made of lighter wood...

Superrock PUs are not active, but are about as hot a passive PU as you will ever find.

This particular one is 7.9lbs, but the old Saturn models—what they called the PT before it became the PT—were notorious for weighing as much as an Oldsmobile.

My gold PT and the blonde Tele clone both come in under 8lbs. They're very comfy but they're just traditional slabs with no contour—the black one has a tummy bevel so I'm looking forward to that.
