Yep. Chrome feels nice but I like to be able to see whether I'm at "10"or not. Those Jazz bass/MXR knobs are simple, have a positive grip, and make it easy to tell where you are.

I came across some plastic knobs with a chrome-like surface and a dot painted on top for my schecter hellcat vi. Those have been great.
