The fates already f'ked me sideways
I was laid off from my IT job 4.5 years ago. Since then I've had the occasional retail gig but money is getting tight for me.
On Friday I was contacted by the USA division of an international manufacturing company. They have a position available that is very similar to what I did on my old job but with newer technology. I sent in my resume and had a phone interview with HR on Monday. That went well. This morning I had a technical interview with the head architect in Ireland. That seemed to go well.
I could use some mojo. I really need this job.
If it doesn't work out, I'm glad that I was at least considered for a good high level job. I didn't think I would ever have the opportunity to break into the IT world again.
