The FG was the worst, the single coverage was a close second. I'm also not a fan of the going for 2 when he did. The guy should have should have caught it, but it was only the 3rd quarter, just kick the 1.
 
I can see going for the FG. You need a touchdown and a FG, go for the FG now. Lots of teams do that but, they were at the 8 yard line so, yeah, dumb.

I was torn over who to root for in this game. I'm a Bears fan so I'm not going for the Packers. But, I hate Brady. In the end, I rooted for the Bucs, I have nothing against the rest of the team. Thought I would be happy the Bucs won but, thought about how Packers can beat the Bears in their sleep so, them loosing means the Bears are even worse than I thought.

They were down 8. TD and 2pt would have tied it.

Because I have been a PATS fan before Tom Brady joined the team. So for a team, I am still loyal to the PATS. As for the GOAT, he gave the PATS 20 wonderful seasons and 6 SB titles. His team play for the team is what I love and for that a TB12 fan. I personally support TB12 even with the Bucs.

I can very much appreciate your positions on this. That said, to the extent I am rooting at all for anyone in this Super Bowl, I am rooting for the young guy.

Nope. I was a Bill Parcells fan - Wrong Bill. Started following the Tuna when he was the head coach of the NY Giants. Loved the ethic of team play over individuals.

To me the young guy will still be around and got his last year.

Funny in that if it were the Saints who won against the Bay, I would be cheering for them. I was cheering for Buffalo when the played KC but that didn't work out.

Yeah, none of my picks, past my own team, worked out either. But, kinda nice not to care that much and just maybe see a game!

No I stayed true. Never have been a fan of the Jets but did watch a few games just to see how the Tuna would do. IIRC, he was in the front office before he became the coach. As for Dallas he came out of retirement and FWIW, I do not like Jerry Jones and what he did to Jimmy Johnson. Enjoyed Jimmy coaching of the boys. I used to be a Cowboy fan when Landry was the coach and stayed with them until he was dismissed. After I had no team that I was pulling for but really enjoyed the NFC so watching the Skins and the Giants at the time was fun. That is when I discovered the Tuna with a team that had no superstar other than LT.
