Pats won but not really used to the new look as it is a drastic change. I could only watch highlights as the game was not broadcast here on the West Coast. The highlights were pretty much a run oriented game. Can't wait to really see a full or partial game on the tube.

Also watched some of the Bucs/Saints game. Outside of the opening drive it looked like an inexperienced Pats team at the start of the season. You can see the rust and the comradery still needs to be built.
 
Pats won with good old power football. Nothing flashy, they simply ran over the Dolphins.

Defense was serviceable against Ryan Fitzpatrick.

Next week is Seattle which will be a much better measure of what this next iteration of NE Patriots is going to be.

Tom Brady better get used to playing with an undisciplined bunch of football players.

NE had only the PI penalties. TB was making stoopid penalties. (Jump on 4th down when you know that's what they're doing?)

Gronkowski was a non-factor. Won't take long for the defensive co-ordinator s to figure out he only needs single coverage these days.

Could be a looooong season for TB12.

As tired as I am of seeing the Pats continue to be dominant, I have to admit that Belichick is a helluva coach that knows how to build a team around his players.

I was never a fan of Cam Newton but will need to grin and bear it. As said by many true Pats fans: "In Belichick, We Trust".

It is quite interesting seeing a new offense being run vs what I have seen for the past 20 years with TB12. With different offensive coodinators at the helm, it has been quite a ride.
