As much as they have sucked, for a long time, it's really hard to imagine this but, the beat the Patriots 46-10 in the Superbowl.

That was an incredible team - as solid as their offense was, their defense was unreal. They had a number of shutouts that season as well as a few games in which their opponents weren't able to put much on the board against them.

That 85 Bears team was wild.

Sure the defense was generational, but they also had 3 offensive Hall of Famers in their prime. Payton, Gault and Covert.

Would also like to add that Wilber Marshall is low-key the greatest linebacker of all time.

Because the Bears Defense was so good, Buddy Ryan their DC became the Eagles head coach the following year and built a great defense. Only problem was even with a great D with Reggie White and Randall Cunningham, Buddy knew nothing about offense and hired the worst OC's.
