I have always played Marshall amps but have been digging the sound of a tele>comp>Fender Amp lately so i picked up an Exotic Sp compressor and a Fender Blues Jr today. Its a VERY responsive amp,and being only 15 watts it wont be too loud. I'm going to order and A/B switch and start using two amps at gigs,the other being my Marshall Silver Jubilee re-issue

My buddy up the peninsula gigs a lot in the Pacifica area and that's his main gigging amp (he has some incredible old fenders, including a '64 super reverb and a bandmaster). It's loud enough to gig with, nicely portable and super dependable. I had it's stablemate -- a pro junior -- for many years and would pick up another if I were still gigging anything like regularly. These things take pedals like a champ, and with the master volume can get as nasty as you like.
 
Funny...I'm a Marshall type guy too. Always have been. But I've got gas for a fender amp as well. Not sure if a Blues Jr. is for me though. I need something tighter in the low end. That said, I'd grab one for the right price.

I tried everything in the store,and I wanted a nice Clean amp that dosent break up too much,and this was it. Even cranked it dosent really distort,it just gets fuller. I used my Tele,a little compression and some slap and Holy Cow it was pure Pete Anderson

I tried quite a few small tube amps before I bought my BJ based on it being about the cleanest I came across in the 15w. category. Congrats and enjoy.
