if there's one complaint Mark has about his area, it's that finding a good amp tech is impossible. seems like he found a solution. grow your own.

Actually Modern Saint is probably the best guy I know of in the area. Billy Zoom isn't taking amps in anymore. Tom has some guy in Huntington Beach and Doug Roccoforte has offered to work on my amps but I haven't talked to him in a while...

That is too kind of you to say Mark and I am not even an amp tech - :lol:

I built mine as a bucket list item and now I have a bug to rebuild and repair some of my own stuff plus build some oddities that I don't want to pay someone else for. Irony has it at the blues jam JJ Slyde wanted me to build him and Joe wanted to know how much I would sell it for or sell one for. This is after they played through it as I used it as one the amps for the backline at the April 2nd jam. I don't have an answer for those requests because I do not want to be bound to a completion date.

I could say two -three years like Dumble and ask for the money upfront - rofl :facepalm:

In reality, I'd rather build pedals because you can complete them quicker.
