I know this will be an unpopular item here, but I have to admit it is pretty cool looking in person, and it is pretty shredtastic as a player. I unpacked it to make sure it arrived ok in shipping and it wasn’t a total dog. Anyway, this is what he wanted, so the finish is perhaps geared towards 15 year old kids. After seeing it in person I kind of like it.

Could have been much worse. Other than the finish making me feel a little woozy (or maybe its the wipe on poly I've been applying) I dig it.

Basswood body, set maple neck, soloist style. It is about 7.5 pounds. 10-16” compound radius, graphite reinforced dual action titanium truss rod, 25.5 inch scale bound neck. Floyd rose trem, recessed. The finish is a satin hydro drip in black and white, front and back, including the neck. Pickups are some high output Jackson something or others. They sound good, but are certainly high output. I thought some specs might be good to share. Basically it is a higher end import Jackson with some fancy paint. It seems really well made and the set up is perfect.

I actually think if you're gonna play a superstrat, a swirl finish is the perfect scheme. On Jackson i'm an Eerie Dess fan, but nothing wrong with matte 2-tone.

That guitar must've passed thru the Hadron Collider on it's way to your place :embarrassed:
