DESCRIPTION:
For sale we have a red Setius M6. The Mayones Setius M6 has a fixed bridge and a double cutaway all-mahogany body in matte finish. It has a bolt-on construction, a 5 pc mahogany-maple neck, plain rosewood fingerboard and a standard 25.4" scale. It comes with Seymour Duncan TB-4 JB and SH-2 jazz humbucker pickups, Schaller tuners and Tune-o-matic strings-thru-body bridge. Black or chrome accessories and a Mayones gigbag deluxe are included.

The Setius Series is especially valued for its swift, satin bolt-on neck and comfortably profiled body. The three tasty top laminate options; classic flamed maple, raw ash or warm amazaque, will add flavor to both the look of the instrument and the sound of its mahogany body. A wide selection of pickups and bridge options makes these instruments an excellent choice for players spanning every style of music, from fusion to extreme metal.

The ultimate in precision, handmade progressive and metal shred machines, Mayones Guitars, are now available through Destroy All Guitars. Their Setius and Regius models have helped set the standard for this new movement in lutherie where the focus is on 6, 7 and 8 string super precision shred machines whose bodies are often coupled with multiscale fanned fret necks, in both baritone and standard scale lengths, offering todays metal and progressive players access to the instruments that they could only have dreamed of just a few short years ago. This is the future now!!!!!!

I like that a lot...my favorite pickup combo, great neck joint, and satisfies my need for wood grain...

Needs a trem...

I don't mind it, but who chose that background for the pics? The guitar blends too much with the background.

it'd do the job, but for that kinda cash, I want something that's at least a little flashy, ya know?

and yeah, def. needs a Floyd

I don’t mind the finish; unlike the cheap Indonesian guitars this one is made of an attractive slab of wood. It looks much better than Gibson guitars with a transparent finish!

"Mayones Setius M6" sounds like a star. :embarrassed:

Or a song and a star.

Why do I picture Drill Sergeant Perryman screaming in Richard Geere's face...

"MAY-O-NAAAAIISSEE....." :embarrassed:

Although I personally prefer a hardtail to a Floyd, one cannot call a guitar an "ultimate...shred machine" without one, so fail on that count. As far as the rest goes, I'll give it a solid "meh" - gives me no reason to purchase above a high-end Ibby, or a low-end Suhr.

I really wanted to say yes clicking on the tread then saw the guitar and thought "meh".

Give me it without the dye job in natural and I'm in.
