MWGL....I came for the guitars, I stayed for the laughs. This is one of the funniest damn web sites anywhere. I mean it; there's some real talent here.
We should parlay this into a comedy blog/website or some shit.

Question one, Mark, are you interested in hosting, being involved in or otherwise sanctioning an offshoot Mark Wein Comedy Hour or Mark Wein "Guitar squid" or something. Maybe not even guitar or music related, but just lulz?

Question two, are there any members here interested in participating as talent?

Question three, any ideas about a format or approach?

If anyone watches the "World's Dumbest" shows, that might be a way to go. Have a topic or video or picture, something like that, and have the talent make comments. A lot like we do in threads here, just riffing off each other.
Hell, a lot of the threads here, if packaged properly, could probably draw an audience.

Just some random thoughts. Anyone interested?

I'm all for new stuff but I'd be a horrible host for something like this...I'm also not sure how funny we are for folks who aren't actually members of the community, either. If you guys had something good I'd be all for going with it though.
 
My comedy act consists of cutting a hole in my guitar, hanging a faux cock out of it hooked to a bucket full of watered-down Elmer's glue with an aquarium pump hooked to a footpedal and then spraying the first 4 rows of the audience in goo.

How am I doing?

Because, I have to tell you....my God, that is some kind of fucking funny.
