Homemade greens. Gosh I love these things. (Forgive my messy office)

That does look good.

I just have a tupperware of Hamburger Helper. I wont take a pic, cause its not really pic worthy.


I have gotten in the habit of taking a Saturday and just making a bunch of lunches, Hamburger Helper, Mac-n-Cheese, some home cooked stuff like the adobo recipe down in the food thread. I make them up and put them in the freezer, so i'll have 3 or 4 weeks of lunches all made up in advance. Thats working well for me.

hmm....I've only had collard greens once and I wasn't too into them. That actually sounds pretty good, though...

We used to have a BBQ place near here run by an African American Pastor and his wife. Their collard greens were to die for....

I had mine at B.B. Kings on the Universal Citywalk in LA....don't know how authentic they were...my palate has expanded in the last decade so I due to try them again with an open mind...
 
Hey folks...

Thought I'd pop in and check this place out. Looks good!

Just a ham and swiss on rye for me. I did, however, have swiss chard for the first time on Saturday. They were pretty good. I just sautee'd them up in a little olive oil, salt and pepper.

I couldnt post if I wanted to, account is broken. As I have said before, I miss a lotta GJers but I walk away from that place in a foul mood, and the current "administration" and I have serious issues. Not only am I insulted by some of the members there, I am insulted by the so-called "super-mod". I ask for some respect, and I get pissed about pictures of dead or dying children, and I am "self-righteous" for it? Nope. I cant handle that. I have a serious personal beef with him for saying some of the stuff he has to me, I have never encountered anyone so incredibly arrogant.



It still gets me pretty pissed. All involved are much better off with me not going there.

Well this is turning into a place for the truly cool to hang out. ;D

One of these days i GOTTA try that Franks Red Hot sammich at Rally's/Checker's that was mentioned over in GJ. That sounds so darn good.

Sorry. I miss a bunch of you guys, too. Its good to see ya over here. Like I said, maybe after the elections the place will cool down and I will ask them to fix my account. We shall see.
 
I had a Quizno's Turkey and Cheddar on wheat - it was yummy.
