The city of Eaglerock is named after a large rock that casts a shadow resembling an eagle with its wings outstretched. (See picture at bottom). It can be seen on the Eastbound 210 freeway in the city of Glendale (joke).Hahhahahaha ... many hours.

Casa Bianca is the classic old school eagle rock pizza joint, but I dunno if I'd call it "artisan", so maybe that's not what they were talking about. There is supposedly, a delicious artisan pizza joint in the city of Eaglerock. I heard about it on The Petros And Money Show. They have a sports talk show, Mon - Friday on a.m. 690. A great and witty Southern California radio show. I dont have the name of said pie joint, but I can text the guys at the radio show via their 'Secret Textosa Line' to get it. I could give you the secret textosa line, but I would be betraying the secret.
I think thats it. I have not tried it. I thought one of hosts mentioned artisan. I'm more of a traditional crust man. I tend to not discriminate when I have a slice in hand. The same goes for sex (joke). Sorry Honey.Casa Bianca is the classic old school eagle rock pizza joint, but I dunno if I'd call it "artisan", so maybe that's not what they were talking about.
Get the eggplant and green olive if you go there though
their crust is pretty thin - they also do the "party cut" (cut in squares rather than wedges)I think thats it. I have not tried it. I thought one of hosts mentioned artisan. OK, so I got some of this and it is indeed nauseatingly wonderful, but I dunno how much I think it really brings to mind candy corn, flavor wise..
I'm making that trip. Im a pastrami sandwich aficionado. Thanks for the great tips.their crust is pretty thin - they also do the "party cut" (cut in squares rather than wedges)
Also must visit (food-wise) in eagle is the oinkster ("artisan" pulled pork and pastrami sandwiches).
I should say "was", not "is" - all my LA info is ~5 years out of date, and restaurant stuff turns over fast, so take it all with plenty of grains of salt.

While I have a vivid imagination, and I see the eagle head too, I found the shadow information online and thought it was interesting. Heres a normal picture.OK, you have a shot with the wrong angle on the eagle. If you’re higher up, like at the level of the freeway, the rock formation clearly resembles the head of an eagle with the beak, and not a flying eagle.

Forget everything you have learned and what you think you know. Take an unbiased view at the eagle like shadow in the first picture. You dont see the eagle huh?OK, you have a shot with the wrong angle on the eagle. Since you don't direct out of towners to a great pizza place, do you have a wine bar you can recommend?![]()
It’s a well worn subject. The natives named it Eagle Rock based on what is clear in this pic.

It's good to see you are on board. I just learned the 'shadow of the eagle' fact today myself. I can see 5 eagles in the rock itself . That's a great pictureHere’s a better picture to make your point

You chimed in quickly this morning when you thought the rock looked like a chicken head. Errr.....eagle head. It's good to see your argumentative swagger is back. You mean the Wikipedia free contributor didn’t have access to the entire history of this subject?? God forbid. There are numerous articles and local guides that cover the topic. Go to Vromans bookstore in Pasadena in their section on local topics.
