Have you guys seen this? I really dig the gigrig switcher, but the price is just too high.

and a crappy video.

I'd like to expand my board a bit. Maybe get the wah back on there and some other things. I think what is keeping me from having some of my other stuff on there is all the tap dancing, and I hate tap dancing.

Damn...you're turning into me :embarrassed:

I have a pair of used Loop Masters that I picked up on TGP a few months ago. I love the idea of the presets that the one you have there does though. The only upside to my more primitive rig is that the gig I ad where I lost power to my pedalboard for a set the true bypass loops let me keep playing through the amp.

I totally blame you.

I've never really been too much of an effects guy. Some dirt and off I go, but I'm thinking about using my board for more than just a suitcase for a dirt box, cables, and things. I'd really like to put my tone press back on for some clean stuff, but I really despise stepping on 2 or 3 switches in the middle of the song. I'd like to get my wah and uni-vibe back on there too, but the bypasses suck so hard that they just sit in the box. And then there's the POG2 that I have my eye on. Plus, the tuner in line is bugging me lately for some reason. I like the programmability aspect in that I'd like to be able to re-use pedals in different loops, plus be able to re-assign them depending on the gig.

If you have a lot of effects and are playing "shows" where things need to happen at specific times and its turning your tone to mush I think they are almost essential.

except that the midi controller I had made the signal run through every peice of gear all the time. My rig sounded terrible because of it.

You must have had a lot of stuff in your signal chain.

I had a Rockman Midi Octopus for control. Never owned the separate pedal loop controls to keep in the rack so I put my two overdrives on my pedal board with midi controller, cry baby wah and volume pedal.

I had a lot of stuff (and the midi octopus :embarrassed:)

Mesa/Boogie studio preamp
ADA MP-1 Preamp
Alesis Quadraverb
Rocktron Intellifex
Furman PL-8+
Mosvalve poweramp.

Dang an MP-1 and an MB preamp, Ouch....

Wow lots of Time EFX

My rack which sounded great. Here is my lineup:

Furman PL
Korg Tuner
Rockman Midi Octopus/Rockman 12 Band EQ
Roland SE50/Roland SE50
Marshall 9001 Preamp
Peavey 50/50 Power Amp

I had one SE50 in the loop for Chorus, Reverb and Post Delay. The Second One was before the Preamp for Echo and Compressor.

Oh yeah I recently saw one of the Loops - used - that you now own at the Cerritos GC

I guess I could probably just get a loop master and put the tone sucking stuff in it and it would work fine. I do like the assignability aspect where you could have one button assigned a chorus and a compressor, then the next button have the chorus, drop out the comp, and add dirt, etc. with one step of the foot.
