Dig it! Life Hack - white cotton gloves to protect your nitro finishes on hangers

So I’ve got a couple guitars now that have a nitro finish, and though I’ve been lucky so far with my hangers, and even though they are supposed to be nitro safe, I have seen anecdotal evidence online that that might not be the case for all finishes. So I ordered some of these 100% cotton gloves off of Amazon, and you can actually get two hangers done from one glove if you cut em up. One uses the thumb and index finger, the other uses the middle and ring finger.

I have an old 3-guitar stand with the shitty orange rubber-like tubing on the hangers.
I have to fix the base of it, but I’ve always hesitated because I’d also have to sort out the hanger covers.

This’ll do it nicely.

You know what would be cool? If instead of two prongs holding the guitar, you had a gloved hand holding it. Maybe set it up with a mechanism where the weight of the guitar makes the fingers clench around the guitar.
