Well, here's the latest.
Of course, I went to Minneapolis Wednesday for the interview with company B. That went well and my headhunter reports that the hr director said she thinks I'd be a good fit. No offer til she confers with everyone else involved. Probably by wednesday.
Company A came back into the picture when their original pick withdrew. I was called back to interview with the VP of national accounts. This was yesterday. The regional manager called this afternoon to set up a facetime video interview with the VP of sales, so I'm still in it.

And another interview today. This was with company A that I would rather work for. Had an interview with the national accounts manager last week. He gave me a thumbs up to the regional. Today was with the VP of sales. He gave me a thumbs up, also. The regional asked for references and says he'll call later.
Today's interview was via Face Time from home. That was cool.
They're moving pretty fast since I told them about company B in the mix.
Headhunter from company B called and said we won't know anything til Wednesday.
