Jazzmaster/Jag cases

my hat is all
Any of you folks who bought those blacktop JM's want a good case? I would normally post this in the good deal thread, but they're going pretty quick. They fit Jags too @smurfco

I have the same case, and while a little on the bulky side, it certainly offers great protection. I paid near $100 for mine and thought that was a pretty good deal.

I'm switching back to Android: iPhone 7 without a headphone jack is a no go.

I'm getting bluetooth ear buds but not because of that. I constantly snag the cord and rip them out of my ear.

I'd go back to a flip phone before I got an android. My wife has one of the nice samsungs and I hate it. I will never own an android product.

Don't judge Android based on a Samsung device. TouchWiz is a steaming pile of shit. Check out Nexus devices for proper vanilla Android.

My wife's Samsung is running Marshmallow, she has the S7.

First, I hate technology, nothing ever works the way it is supposed to and I have been working in IT for 17 years. The last thing I want to do is figure out how to use something that isn't for work. The Android interface reminds me of Homer Simpson's website. I hate it. I don't want to have to download software to sync my device on my computer. I have a Mac, so I plug it in, done. When I got the 5 and gave my 6 to my daughter, I plugged in my 6, let iTunes back it up, then plugged in the 5 and it asked me if i wanted to restore, I chose my latest backup and bam, done. You wouldn't have know it was a different by looking at it. All the apps were in the exact same location and even grouped in the same groups. Honestly, if the flip phone wouldn't have cost me more to move to, I would have done that. I hate getting email and texts on my phone, I don't like being that accessible.

I just like arguing with YOU PEOPLE from my phone.

Right there is the confusion...

What is this downloading software to sync? Google with proper Android syncs everything to your Google account.

Want to find your pictures? http://photos.google.com

Your contacts? http://contacts.google.com

Music? OK, you have to install something to do that, but with an iPhone you still have to install iTunes... So, WTF? Still, http://music.google.com is what I use to sync my entire iTunes library (since I already had an iTunes library) and now I can listen to my music ANYWHERE on the web or on my phone or tablet.

Whenever you connect your account to a new Android device it restores from your last used device. I've had the same basic setup (apps, icon locations, widgets) on four devices (Droid 3, Droid RAZR HD MAXX, Moto X 2014, and my current Nexus 6).

The problem is that SAMSUNG FUCKS ALL THAT UP AND NEEDS A FUCKING CACTUS IN THE FUCKING EAR.

So, you really have a Samsung TouchWiz problem, not an Android problem.

No google account. I hate gmail and google services. I also like my backups locally not on someone else's servers.

It's funny, my wife set hers up to sync with Google and when she got a new phone, nothing would come back to the new one. I refuse to help her because I hate Androids and told her if she switched to one, she was on her own. My brother in law has a Nexus and had issues when restoring his too when he got a new phone last year, the store he bought it from was no help either. And they are both smart people, my wife is far smarter than I am, she is a college professor with a PhD and she is constantly fighting with her phone. She accidentally wiped it over the summer, that was fun. My parents, who can't even work a DVD player, have never called me with iPhone issues.

iTunes is on every Mac no installation necessary. I have a mini, a laptop and my wife's laptop, all Mac, no need to install or create an account to use with a phone.

And that is the other thing I hate about Android. There too many flavors of it. I just want to make calls, listen to some tunes and use a map when I need to. Not worry if mine has touchwiz or marshmallow or what ever the next company calls their version.

"If I recall the cases are actually too short for a Jazz/Jag."

Thanks. Live and learn, I guess. #gigbagloser

BTW, Droid forever for phones.
