Yes, in my back yard. It's a creek for most of the year, but when the rains come it rises pretty fast. There are a couple of swimming holes, and my kids spent most of their summers in the river, either wading, swimming or crawdadding.
Yes river, not swimmable. Finally got rid of the combined storm sewer that sent sewage directly into the river during rainstorms, goal is for it to be swimmable by 2025.
