Is this winter starting to get long for everyone else??

btw.....what part of Va.? i've lived in Front Royal, Fork Union, Winchester and Staunton, well and Waynsboro on weekends.

i remember driving back to Front Royal from Richmond in the winter of 1979 and having to pull over and put chains on the back tires, it was getting so bad.
i don't think that kind of thing happens to often in that area.

i mean, up on the blue ridge parkway above Front Royal gets snow every winter. ]
but richmond doesn't usually get a bunch of snow, not like that year.

Looks like we're gonna be in the mid-60s over the next week with lows in the low 40s. Highs are a little high, but not too far off. Now if only we could get some more rain. . .

Yeah we warmed up, too. 70 degrees today.
I'm gonna be putting down weed preventer. I WILL beat this yard into shape this year if it kills me.
First year was drought and I made zero impact. Some headway last year but the weeds are out of control.

When you're done stop by and unleash he'll upon my weeds. Similar to Oklahoma, weeds thrive here during the winter grass dormancy/death period. Weeds laugh at freezing conditions.

They do. The damn chickweed stayed green all winter!
