Poor old Geordie's array...
Apologies if I've already posted this, I had started a thread but it seems to have disappeared.

But I digress:

lol. Better than a harmonica I guess.

I have harmonicas too :embarrassed:

Can't play them for shit though.

I've been harping on about getting a saxophone for ages now and with a little prodding and a lot of MacCallan's 10y.o. last night I took the plunge. :)

Should be here by friday.

Do it.

Then let us know if you regret having cheap sax while in a compromised state of mind...

I've got an alto sax that I have only played once (as a joke) since high school. I'd love to get a tenor sax at some point though. I used to be pretty okay at playing it. :embarrassed:

You know...it's a picture of a Japanese guy sucking on (and jamming his arms into) something that looks like a urinal crossed with a woman's torso and I'm like "yep. Japan."

It's here and I suck

I assumed it would just be like a flute but there's about 400 keys

Will be fun to learn though. I can get a note out of it OK so once I know the fingerings I'll be good to go.

The sheer Rube Goldberg-ness of brass instruments has always delighted me. Some seriously twisted and brilliant individuals had a hand in designing these things. I'm enjoying my pedal steel for similar reasons.

I now know A B D E F and G in both octaves. :thu:

I'm not quite sure where C has gone but since sharps and flats are for pussies, once I discover C I'll be ready to jam and sit in with any band fortunate enough to have a gig while I have my sax there

EDIT: found C. :thu:
