never heard of that guy but I did see The sons of the pioneers play once at some place called Triple C chuckwagon or some shit. It was like communal seating and red checkerboard table cloths, real high faluting type place that the old folks (winterbirds) from the midwest ate up :cop: I have no idea how we ended up there except I think we met friends and they probably suggested it cuz i know my dad never dug those communal seating places and avoided them at all costs if he could. Anyway this place had tin cups and tin plates, the whole 9 yards and then the Sons came on stage and played cool water, etc

Sounds like Little Red Barn in Ol' San Antone.

I bought a Sons comp after I saw Lebowski and the guy was all "you don't look like a Sons of the Pioneers fan to me." I had to explain that I was trying to assemble a complete Lebowski soundtrack like a big ol nerd. *spits* Fuck soundtracks that leave half the good stuff out.
