You son of a...At least no one is singing "Simply having a wonderful Valentines..."

I hear ya. Luckily for me, my wife has never been big on Valentine's Day. She's not a fan of cut flowers (thinks it's sad that they all die shortly) or the ridiculous crowds at restaurants. It'll be especially bad this year, being on a Saturday. We typically just get carry-out from somewhere and have a quiet evening at home.Saw this Sunday morning.

When you're single, Valentine's Day is brutal. It's a reminder that you are alone. Here is a day to celebrate love and romance, that thing absent in your life. Singles on Valentine's Day are the vegans at the steakhouse. ["Boy, everyone sure seems to be enjoying their steak."]
Valentine's Day isn't much better when you are part of a couple. I am happily married, but I view Valentine's Day as another opportunity for me to fail. lol-049
Valentine's Day (or the idea behind it) should be every day in a healthy relationship.
