I want this, but maybe with a P-90...?

Never been a fan of white SGs. Though i've never seen one in person...in pics they look blindingly white.

Whatever happened to those SG's (and Les Pauls) that had the maple fretboard, and came out about a year ago or so? All of a sudden they've disappeared.

P-90, P91... Whatever it takes.

Get the second one with dual P-90's. I can't imagine having just one P-90.

JBird, I bought them all.
mine has a maple board.
kinda wish these did, though I'm normally a rosewood guy.

Howie, I considered that one, actually, but I've never played an Epi SG that I've liked.
granted, I've only played a handful of them...
the only Epi I ever really clicked with was a FLameKat.
which I really, really should have bought.
sadly, I was unemployed at the time, and more or less homeless.

BB, I think that blinding factor is part of the charm, for me.

Nice.

I still like the LP Junior/Special better. A little more solid.
Guitars, like girls, can be too skinny.

I just don't see the purpose of getting an Epi SG when Gibson has the reasonably priced classic/special/faded (or whatever model its called) for only a few hundred more.

because sometimes the cheaper guitar is actually the better instrument. there's no point in ruling anything out just because of the name on the headstock.

Very very true. Although I'm sure that the possibility of getting a "good one" is a little higher with a Gibson over a Epi. Mainly talking about a reselling value though. There's just not too much to an SG and I haven't played too many bad Gibson Classic / Special SG's
