Dig it! I think this will work out!

Gary Blanchard

beloved, local musician
Got together with the bass player this morning. He's a young kid (51) who is playing in a band but had done an acoustic gig in the past and enjoys playing this style. We ran through 4 of my songs a couple of times and talked a bit. The bass really adds to the sound and I get the energy that comes from playing music with another person. Like my brother, he has a Ric bass; he even came up with some bass lines similar to what my brother would do. I gave him some CD's and asked him to choose some songs he'd like to work on. There is no rush in getting this together, which is nice. I do believe that this is a good move. I might try adding more later, but I'll let it grow naturally.

Gary, I wish we lived a lil closer. I'd love a chance to play with you.

Hmmmm that didn't really come out right but you know what I mean. Wink wink nudge nudge

I'm closer to Amherst. West Brookfield is approximately in the middle of nowhere, east of Amherst, west of Worcester, and north of Sturbridge.
