I need a good case.

I picked up a lower-end Martin dreadnought the other day to replace an old Yamaha that's been steadily falling apart for years. Since this is a much better instrument than I'm used to, I'd like to keep it as protected as possible, so I was seeing what kind of case you guys would recommend to keep it safe. It'll be my main gigging guitar, so it needs to be a pretty rugged case. I'm not on any super-tight budget, but I'd like to keep it relatively inexpensive (meaning not a Calton, haha).

I use the factory cases for most of my guitars, at least for those that came with a case. The only aftermarket case I have is an SKB. It was pretty cheap and has served me well over the years. Certainly not a flight case, but it is hard enough to protect the guitar.

Have you had a chance to check out any of the Reunion Blues cases? My latest Kauer came with one. It seems like a pretty legit soft/hard-ish case, but I haven't really tested it too much yet.

I have seen some gigbags lately that we're every bit as good as a hardshell while being much more practical.
