I may have been wrong about 5 guys (lunch)

Well, we have friends in Alaska that send down fresh canned salmon, and that is killer... Of course, it needs mayo, onions, pickles, etc...

When i was a kid my parents canned salmon when we lived up there. Dad used to smoke a bunch of salmon too, and can it. It was fantastic.

Had this today - no grease that I'm aware of - perhaps in the broth?

That sounds fantastic. There's a vendor at a local farmer's market that sells Alaskan salmon, it's good stuff but unfortunately has to be frozen. It's also pricey. But very, very good.

Yeah, the smoked stuff was especially great. Dad built his own smokehouse out in the back yard, was just a little wooden building with racks if i recall. hahaha. But sure came out great.

:annoyed:

Now I'm calling my wife to see if she wants a burger for lunch. 5 Guys better be good (if she goes for it).

stop dieting and start LIVING

Meh.

There is a physical fitness requirement for the course I'm currently taking. I had surgery in January and then promptly injured my knee. I also got into it with a stupid, crazy bitch I worked with while on probation and was worried about losing my job. Between inactivity and stress eating, I've put on 15 lbs. I was medically cleared from my knee injury 3 days before this class started. I went from being incredibly fit back to square one. I'm just trying to get back to where I was.

5 Guys does make a tasty burger, but there's no way I could finish a double cheese and regular fry. That's a lot of food.
