I have bought our tickets for Batman V Superman

Saturday at 1:10 I will be taking the kids to see it. I don't know if I have ever been this excited for a movie before. When I was a kid, the only thing I cared about on Saturday mornings was watching the Superfriends. Now I will finally get to see Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman all on the big screen.
 
i do not understand this whole versus thing. they're both supposed to be super heros fighting for justice.....why the hell are they fighting each other??
seems like a stupid premise to me.

Because Justice League and Frank Miller's The Dark Knight Returns.

I hated Man of Steel so much I'll probably wait for this one to come out on Blu-ray/streaming.

If you have seen the trailers, you should know. Batman sees Superman as a person who can wipe out the planet and Superman sees him as a vigilante. So they try to take each other out and I guess by the end of the flick, they realize they are on the same side and they team up to start the Justice League.

I'm taking my oldest boy and nephew on Saturday. It may suck, it may be good, it may be great. Disirregardless (yes, that is a word, MY word) I refuse to miss this one on the big screen.

Well, since the Justice League hasn't been made yet it isn't really a prequel. But this is the beginning of the Justice League. Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg are all part of the film, but I think the Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg don't have big roles in this film.

Early reviews are saying good things. Someone even said Affleck is " the best live action Batman ever. And it's not even remotely close." While I am in the minority in my liking of Affleck, I am skeptical of him being Batman. I mean O'Bannion and Shannon are 2 of my favorite characters so I can't hate the guy.
 
I think Batfleck will do a great job. But I don't like Supes and it's pretty telling that they couldn't come up with a great concept for a Man of Steel sequel... DC/WB knows that Batman is their moneymaker.
