Yeah, the really good stuff is REALLY expensive.

I guess it's more of a financial problem...

Gofundme?

I hear you. I'm off it for a few days at least, but had been drinking Bombay Sapphire gin (been on sale @ ~ $26/750 mL), but buying Fever-Tree premium tonic/ bitter lemon @ $5/24 oz When it's not sold out, which is frequently. That's more than the hooch, but makes for a great G&T.

I try to avoid tonic made with high-fructose corn syrup or aspertame.

Bourbon's getting ridiculous as well.

It's definitely a costly habit. I spent about $100 on a couple bottles of good rye.
Fortunately, I limit my drinking mostly to the weekends, so it takes me a while to go through a bottle.

I've got a drinking problem, there's so much whisky and gin in my kitchen cupboards there's no more space for it  :embarrassed:

Seriously at last count I've got about a dozen single malts and half a dozen bottles of gin ranging from Gordons to some pretty nice limited edition Bombays, some hipster Scottish gin and I've got a nice Welsh one I picked up on a whim as we speak.

Definitely needs fever tree tonic though when you're drinking decent gin. In fact a good tonic will even make cheap gin taste great,

Party at @jbj's house!

I've got way too many bottles of wine for the space we have. I need help drinking it!

I will sacrifice my liver for the good of all and volunteer to help you with the overstock.

I get the occasional bottle of the pricey stuff and it takes several months to finish it. The tasty middle priced stuff is fine for most occasions.

If you guys have that much booze laying around for any length of time then you certainly don't have a drinking problem..

Sounds more like you have a thinkin' problem...
