I got to play with some toys

I jammed with a bass player yesterday who is interested in forming a band with me. He had some wonderful toys! I got to play an Anderson Tele into an original Klon Centaur, into a Dr. Z 18 watt amp. It was freakin' awesome.

I would love to play my McFeely through a real Klon and a Dr Z. If all the hype surrounding the real Klon is true, then my McFeely through that rig would sound like angles singing. Well, I guess someone else would have to be playing my guitar for that to be true

I forgot, later in the night, he also broke out his original Way Huge Blue Hippo chorus. I've never heard a more beautiful chorus. Might be time for me to upgrade some gear, though these are out of my price range, for sure. But it made my Boss Chorus Ensemble sound like a rhino fart, so I'll find something in-between.

I've never played a Klon, but I have had the chance to play through a lot of Dr. Z. amps, and I have a permanent lust for them because they live up to every bit of hype out there.
