Hey! I've listened to Mr. Mark Wein playing his Suhr Strat-style and enjoyed every minute of it.
I like how Mr. Wein describes wanting different tones, yeah, different tones,
when I grew up with Ritchie Blackmore and Jeff Beck being advertised as just plugging "straight" into an amp.
Using effects wasn't something every band let me do. Half of my noise never gets to come out during any gig, anyway.
I thought I was risking clicking the annoyance button on Mr. Mark Wein, when he has only been polite and gracious with me.
And I too am a community conscious person.
"Birds of a feather flock together, yes, oh yes they do". A Toronto band, "Rough Trade" with Carole Pope, who now lives in L.A.
A song I used to play.
