Hows the recording going?

I just finished my part of one collaboration and I'm looking for where I misplaced the files for the other one

:markfacepalm:

It's been a pretty productive month for me. I managed to wing in a 4th composition. What made it easier was setting up a go-to template with all the tracks and associated FX for all the instruments and vocal tracks. I think I'll follow this route for future recording as well.

Cool!

Did you get my message about your tune? If you can resend it I can finish it today...

I've made quite a bit of progress on my original materials, but my covers are in a semi-completed stage that is nowhere near polished. On top of that I got two new scripts last night that are about to start production, so I need to start looking into scoring for video in Logic.

I'm not sure...I have the guitars done, need to re-do the vocals, and need to add drums and bass. It depends on what time I can get - have been ludicrously busy, and we decided to flee to Columbus for the day/night - I'm in a Fairfield Inn on Olentangy River Rd near OSU as I post this. So, it depends on when we get home tomorrow if I can get a couple hours of alone time to finalize.

Hey Mark, on our collab...

Do you think the mix is alright?

It sounds good on my monitors, but listening in the van this morning (which isn't the best stereo in the world, granted, it sounded like the vocals and drums were a little too low in the mix. Not terrible, but something that maybe bringing the guitars and bass down a db or two wouldn't hurt.

What do you think?
