32nd notes and 64th notes counted...

16th is 1 E and A, but how would 32nd and 64th be counted?

I have no idea if this is right or not since I still have issues with 16th notes. This was in a book I have.

Thirty-Second Note Exercises

Take a look at the first example below. Unlike all the other sub-divisions we've discussed in other lessons, these notes are counted in groups of two. In other words, you don't have a verbal count for each individual note, but instead - you just count every second note.

This makes counting 32nd notes identical to how you would count sixteenth notes. The only difference is that you play two notes for every count.

64th notes are pretty easy actually - as long as you are playing at 20 BPM or less....

TBH thats how I do odd groupings like 5 and 7's, too...once I start feeling where the accent is I'm cool...

Is frailing like tremolo or is it to be played in time with a rhythmic subdivision?
