sorry i phantom post here. i hope that's ok.
my schedule is hectic at best so i get very little free time to post on forums. :cry: work sucks

anyways.. hello again.

Since I'm here. Are there any drummers here?
I was considering purchasing a digital drum set. (i need volume control)
So I called sweatwater and they were suggesting I purchase the new Roland TD-20SX

There are some videos posted on the Roland website and it looks phenominal, but I know they always look good in those videos. lol Roland TD-20SX website

It's VERY expensive. I dunno-Any sugguestion?
 
Those are probably the best electronic drums on the market.

That said, there are plenty of sets out there for a lot less money.

I have an older and cheaper Roland set, and I think its a great set.

I've played a few E-sets and none of them quite do the trick. I guess I'm looking for real drums and I realize i'm not going to get that without buying a real set. It's the cymbals that bother me most. They've come along ways making the drums sound good but every E-set i play the cymbals are lacking so much dynamics and presence. idn_smilie
