Have you looked at the cost to replace your pedals!?

DinoMikeSr

I have the box
Yesterday some body asked about a low cost plate reverb pedal. I bought mine for $69. I looked up the price to tell them and it is now $185! 75 percent of my pedal are 2 to 3 times what I paid should they break and I want to replace them. It made me sad. On the other side some pedals I got at the same time are still the same price.

I don’t have anything special, so they’re easily and cheaply replaced.
Mine are not special either. Not when I bought them anyway. I was going to refer the guy to a low cost good sounding reverb and just got blindsided. They are just Boss or TC Electronic pedals and I just blew it off as everyday run of the mill pedals. Which they are.

What's funny is that I live pretty easily without pedals these days except that I have some recording coming up where they requested I come with my amp and pedalboard.

The fanciest thing I have is the Keeley Mod Workstation, 300$ or 200$ used.
The Rat2 with the LM308 might cost more, but if I had to replace it I'd probaby get a Wampler Ratsbane or something.

looking up what a few of my pedals are worth these days......
Marshall Gov'nor Mark I (1990), $350 and up
ProCo Rat 1, $400 and up
ProCo Rat 2, $250 and up.

i knew they were kinda collectable, but nothing like that^^
