Richmond Belmont
Features:
The Richmond line of guitars are the newest creations from the visionary guitar makers at Godin. These beautiful instruments borrow design elements from classic styles of the 1950's, but as we've come to expect from Godin, they've put their own spin on things. The Belmont has an immediately familiar shape but closer inspection reveals a truly unique guitar. The build quality is outstanding and the guitar has a very solid feel to it. At approximately 7.5 lbs it's not a lightweight instrument but it's very well balanced and the body is quite ergonomic. The bolt on mahogany neck provides great sustain with a some nice snap as well. The neck profile is a bit like a late 50's Les Paul but just a touch thinner. The roller type bridge design is especially nice and makes the guitar very comfortable to pick at the bridge position. One of the best things about the Belmont is the pickup arrangement. The Seymour Duncan lipstick pickups have a very warm and creamy sound while the '59 in the bridge give you plenty of PAF style bite! It's a great configuration that combined with a 5 way switch offers a huge variety of tone. If you're looking for an extremely well made North American guitar that has a little vintage vibe without the usual names on the headstock, check out a Richmond! This is a brand new "B-Stock" guitar (Please read below about B Stock) and comes with the deluxe gigbag and Full Factory warranty. Godin B-Stock factory blem instruments are a great way to get a top quality guitar at a great discount! This guitar normally sells for $995.00. If you have any questions at all please feel free to call!
About B Stock:
This is a B-Stock or factory blemished guitar. It is not a return or refurbished instrument and it is not used. Almost without exception the blemishes we see from Godin are nearly imperceptible in the form of minor hazing or scuffing on the finish, or very small drip in the finish near the output jack plate. These blemishes are always very very minor and can save you hundreds of dollars on your purchase! We inspect each B-Stock extensively before we ship and guarantee that you will be satisfied with your purchase with our 7 day no questions asked return policy effective the day that you receive your shipment. If you have any questions about the nature of these "B" Stock instruments please give us a call!
About the Belmont:
For those about to rock, we give you the Richmond Belmont.
The Belmont packs a full gamut of classic rock muscle into its incredibly resonant solid mahogany body. This 24 ¾" scale axe is powered by two single coil Lipstick pickups, along with the vintage bite of a Seymour Duncan '59 humbucker in the bridge. All of which is controlled by a 5-way selector switch and separate volume and tone knobs.
The Belmont's bolt-on mahogany neck features the worn in feel of an Ergocut rosewood fingerboard for an incredibly comfortable playing experience. The Belmont is finished off with high-ratio tuning machines, a chrome roller bridge with fixed tailpiece, a Nordic white pickguard and truss rod cover.
