I like it - except for the birds. The top is dark enough that the flames don't bother me as much as they usually would.

Why does this guitar have standard, big, white plastic frames for the humbuckers?
There isn't any other white like them on the guitar.
But then, this looks to be a hard rock guitar.
Having an opening act to make you look good is so traditional,
maybe that's why these pieces are used. They make the inlay look good.
The word "custom" really jumps out at you, on the neck rod access cover.
Isn't that a Gibson styling cue?

I agree, something about that color makes the flamey top less offensive to me than usual.
 
i love my CU-24. this one doesn't quite do it for me because of the green, but i would totally dig a trans black top on a natural back. i do want to check out the new "pattern" necks and finishes, but don't really care enough to seek one out.

i guess liking PRS, Taylor, and Mesa makes me a cliche teen of the 90s. i'm ok with that. the other major players were making shit during that time and these companies stepped it up.

My friend Matt's dream rig is a PRS Modern Eagle into a Dual Rec and a 314CE.

there's just too much going on with the ME and Recto for me. the ME because they're gaudy and the Recto because they're just plain unnecessary. also, convince him to go with a used 414ce.

Oh, his wife won't let him have any of it. He still dreams about it though. :lol:

Personally I've always wanted a Tremoverb. Or a MkIIC+...
