I wouldn't buy it because it's only got one string retainer.

Too bad the humbucker isn't closer to the neck, so you could use a pickup screw for a partial fret, getting a second octave E or F.
It looks almost like F# where it is.
If it was made of mahogany it would remind me of old mahogany boats, and I'd get off on that. It would sound better too.

The owner of a buy and sell shop I made signs for five years ago was outside having a smoke when I walked by, so I went back in with him.
He had a small scale Stratocaster Squier that was made in Indonesia, a new one on me. Like new with gig bag, $150.
He said he sold Mexican Strats for 400 to $500, and all other offshore for $100 to $150.
And I got a little sign gig out of it.

I am a big G&L fanboy so I obviously love it but will say that I dont always love the finishes on some the models. I dont have a problem with this one though. It is a dark tobacco looking burst. Works fine for me.

I cant say enough good things about the G&L's. I have had two Tribute models and they have both been fantastic with the strength being the pickups. The best sounding pickups I have played.
 
It's too thin, looking like a piece of coffee table, and the finish helps.

I'd hit that in a millisecond. Put a maple neck on it and it would be half a millisecond.

I love the guitar, but hate the finish. Paint it a color, any color and add a maple board and Im in.
