I used to have one of the DeArmond Jet Star versions too. Mine was a little more upscale than the one of Mark's student's in the fact that it was a set neck and had the DeArmond Goldtone pickups.

That was a FANTASTIC sounding and great playing guitar.

I bought it during the VH1 Save The Music thing when they were selling them for $199 shipped. I ended up trading it and a MIM Fender P-Bass Special Deluxe for a MIA P-Bass, which was an utter dog. Traded that bass +$400 for a new MIA Jazz.

I still miss the Jet Star though. :embarrassed: Ugly as it was, that was a great guitar. I saw it hanging in a pawn shop a year or two ago. I'm pretty sure it was actually MY old guitar. It was marked $279. :embarrassed:

Now that I think about it, Lino has one too...or at least he used to.

I wonder if he'd sell me his. :evil:
