If a waitress forgets to bring you salt & pepper after 2 requests AND forgets to bring cream and sugar for coffee after 2 requests, this is obvious grounds for execution of the waitress, right? And I'm talking even if you live in a blue state.

A good cook knows how to season appropriately. Your average line cook doesn't. Then you have the customer. The customer wants what they want. Be it a pre salter or not. Decades of self trained salting doesn't go away even if the food is seasoned appropriately.

That said, as a fan and large consumer of pepper, through my eyes and smell I can determine that there isn't enough pepper for my tastes most of the time.

Honestly I love salty food and I can't even imagine needing to add salt to anything prepared in a restaraunt.

Oh yeah, she also forgot to bring cream & sugar for the coffee drinkers. After the second request she brought cream. After the third request for the sugar, she was a no show so I had to get up and ask the bar tender.
