Gran Turismo appreciation thread

Well i think i got quite a bit of bang for the buck. Since i'm not a gamer, the PS2 will prolly blow me away. :grin:
 
Its a great deal of fun, but jeez. Steering with the little hand controller is tough. Its like if you barely touch it it goes full lock left or right.

This is going to take some getting used to. :embarrassed:

Ratchet and Clank is pretty cool.

Yeah, i think this whole "one step behind the latest" philosophy is a good one. :grin: There are lots of games from $3-10. The console seemed to work just fine too. At least so far.

I play my PS2 more then I my Wii. :embarrassed:

I will probably get a PS3 right about the day the PS4 drops. :embarrassed:

I might still have to pop for a steering wheel thingie, if they make them for the PS2 still. I'm so far behind the curve on this stuff its not funny. But trying to steer the car with that stupid little joystick on the controller blows. :mad:

You should be able to use any wheel with a USB connection...geek confirmation please.
 
I just called a Gamestop, they said ones that work on PS3 won't work on a PS2.

Poop. I'm hitting craigslist. :embarrassed:
