There are a plethora of bad movies being made these days. The competition for the race to the bottom is real. Reynolds is just one of many actors cashing in on stupid movies.

Currently, it seems like series tv does a better job of entertainment than movies. Even the new movies that I do get some entertainment value out of are often stories I'll will never watch again. It's a shame there are not more movies being born that are destined to be rewatched as classics.

last night I watched "Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma" with Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. It was quite good, funny, frightening, bizarre, and it makes me want to watch the director's other movies.

To clarify: the movie stars Hannah Einbinder and Gillian Anderson. I did not, in fact, watch it with them. I bet that would have been fun though, they seem nice.

Has NetFlix turned into the Hallmark channel? We've watched a couple of NetFlix's top movies lately and they were awful. Mothers Day was terrible pablum - I suspect the screenplay was AI generated. The Fabulous Four - bad, bad, bad. Others that my memory has blissfully blocked.

I suspect these movies weren't cheap to produce - they both had plenty of big names.

I think the trick with Hallmark movies is a good dose of hallucinogenics. With the right drugs, the Hallmark channel can be comedy gold.

This was an incredibly wonderful film. You don't need drugs when you have Sally. We thoroughly enjoyed it. There are a couple of Radiohead moments too. Don't let that scare you off.
