I'm just playing a cover gig tonight at Muldoons in Newport Beach. reviewing a few KISS and Gogos songs before I leave the house :embarrassed:

yeah we have a Halloween Gig( we are dressing as Convicts/Jailbirds) tomorrow nite . I'm hoping the local boobage will be impressive ( we get flashed alot in this club on a normal nite)
I have added a couple of new toys to my Pedal Board and will get to unleash them

Pretty fun night tonight. We actually have three couples in the bar who's weddings we've played over the years.

None of mine. I did end up onstage last night at the beat kitchen with a friend's band though.

Tonight we're at J's Sports Bar in Ingleside. It's the very far northwest suburbs of Chicago. We've never played there. so I'm not sure what to expect. I'm going as Rob Zombie (big stretch, huh), so it should be fun. My wife is going to be a pirate. Now that should be fun!

4 hours of music, two 15 minute breaks. Add in 5-6 hours of yardwork yesterday before the gig and I am completely wrecked this morning.

I'm playing alongside a ceilidh band at one of the fanciest hotels around here - this is the kind of place your U2s and Rihanna's stay when playing Glasgow...

Just gone 11 and I've not played a tune yet :embarrassed: Closing in on my record for late start time but I don't think I'll break it,

Just got home from doing a gig at the drummer's motorbike club. We had a rough night and made a load of mistakes but played through and the audience thought it was great so must be doing something right even when we do it wrong!

Had one yesterday with the TP band. Had a great two set day capped off with "The Fughedaboudit" sandwich - 8oz of juicy pastrami on soft rye bread with Brix Deli Sauce, melted swiss, and homemade coleslaw.

Just recovering from the weekend. Played in wis. on sat. till 3am. Then had to tear down load up get home rest for a couple hours then load up with the gear I needed for sunday. Played from 3 till 8 sunday tore down loaded up went home unloaded and passed out on the sofa. Both good gigs and good pay but wow I ain't gettin any younger. Going to practice now with my third band caus we got a gig next sat. This friday I play with the band I played with last sunday. Gotta love it or why would we???

It's been 5 weeks since we have played anything - even a rehearsal. Our drummer had his knee 'scoped' and our first rehearsal since then is tonight. We need to book something quick....

So I broke mt record for latest time starting a DJ se:

11:23 I dropped my first tune. Turns out the stuffy old doctors I'd imagined them to be were a cool bunch and as it was a reunion from their uni days in the 70s I got to play tonnes of Slade, Bowie, T Rex and the like - finished off with Mott the Hoople's take on All the Young Dudes (one of my favourite tunes ever) which was nice.

That's my books cleared until between Christmas and New Year where I've got 2 weddings lined up. Turns out it's quite handy as if everything goes to plan with buying this house, I'll be moving 4 weeks on Friday so it'll be all hands on deck in November.

We cancelled our gig for this weekend due to money discrepancies. I don't mind as it is giving me a chance to rest my back and sciatica flare up.

What is cool though is that I have my blues meetup group is going to have an unplugged day on Saturday. Really looking forward to it!
