I had a student with one a few years ago. One of the few newer Gibsons that I've really liked...

yeah, if you like fat necks its a dream, ditto if you like p90s. I mainly play that one and the DGT with the SAS a close third. I bought the LPC for sentimental reasons and I really haven't bonded with the fretless wonder neck.

How's that Guild sound?

I love it. It would be very hard to replace.

I don't really have a good recording of it at the moment but here is a clip I made testing a mic in the studio:

i don't think it has a model number other than a number designation. its from the late 70s.

It's a 1995 employee made CE guitar.
The top 3 way toggle switch is for p/u selection BUT the middle single coil p/u isn't activated by it. The other 3 way toggle (where a tone control would normally be) taps the p/u's and uses the middle p/u to get lots of quack with splitting the humbuckers.
