i played through a 1x12 version (with reverb) at the rehearsal space last week and absolutely loved it. sounded perfect with the Rocket Drive and the Echorec. no reverb on this one just means my tremolo pedal will sound even more awesome. too bad it's as much as my Allen was. great amp.

i keep coming back to the damn Maz 38. still haven't played the NR version. i even asked about it at the rehearsal space and they didn't have one. i guess i would buy the reverb version, but what's the point if i keep using them in rehearsal anyway?

Son played through a Maz 18 when we were shopping for, and bought his Strymon El Capistan. Great, great amp. I liked it almost as much as the Crate V16.

the only Galaxie i've played was wired through a crap cabinet. i haven't played the other two. but i also have a thing for the Route 66.

Zs are awesome amps and cheap on the used market right now. they sound simply awesome, buy it if you can!!!

They seem to lose about 40-50% on the used market. If I could pick up a 12" combo for a grand, I might just find a way to do it.

I just like how this one is an idealized AC30. It's got the headroom I want but the sound is still there.

honestly the forums at TGP are super lame but look in the classifieds. barely used, never gigged stuff at rock bottom prices. you can also haggle and get a better price too, a few hundo is not a big deal to those guys bc they just want the next flavor of the month. saw a few real cheap Zs recently.
