First Ebay sell

No, I mean you should fully expect paypal to hold that money for at least 12-15 days. Unless you sell a lot, they tend to hold the funds until they know the buyer is happy.
 
I'm still waiting for something to come in though its been 13 days and I am getting a lil annoyed

I accept lesson payments through it several times a month so I've never had a problem but it would really piss me off if I sold something and the. Needed to wait weeks to get paid.
 
You have to make sure you get "verified", and then PayPal only holds your money for like 3 days something.
Otherwise, it gets held for like 2 weeks.
 
Before you buy something new, wait until the eBay fees hit...

If you sold something for $400, Paypal takes 3% and then eBay takes 10%. You'll probably end up with $350 or so

If memory serves, you sign up using 2 forms of ID (one being your CC, and then a checking account off your bank).
It verifies your address, and they have a better chance to recover their $$$ if you decide to swindle somebody.
