explorers are like firebirds for me - i love them until i play them and then i don't love them because the ergonomics are all wrong for me, so i put it down and walk away. and the next day, i love them again.

What?!! I have never, ever had explorer gas, nor given a rat's ass about one. Except maybe an old ford explorer to fill with explosives and send off a cliff, thus fulfilling the nickname "exploder".

Not feeling the Explorer. Never have. I would get a Reverse Firebird first or another V before that.

FYI -- I had serious Explorer GAS until I traded for an Epi Explorer. I thought it sounded great, but it just didn't "fit".

I love explorers but they are way too big for me. They made one a while back I think it was called the X-Plorer pro or something. It had a smaller body. If I could find one (that doesn't cost a fortune) and I will have to buy one.
